Ford F350 Air Suspension

I received the Aldan shocks a week ago and I’m pleased to say that they outperform the Bilsteins in every way.

On my first outing I knew that this was the ride I was looking for, plush with added adjustment. These are not the kind of words I would ever use normally, but they fit the Aldan shocks to a tee.

The Aldan’s took a few miles to set the correct pressure and damping, but after that they needed no adjustment. They inspire confidence on all types of roads and conditions without the need to constantly adjust the air pressure as I found on the Bilsteins. The Bilsteins were just too hard and they bounced over the bumps instead of absorbing them. The damping was just all wrong for what I was looking for. Having said that, the Bilsteins did come into their own at speed, inspiring confidence only when the pace went beyond the law. The static damping was outstanding at high speed but this is not where I spend most of my time in the saddle.

I thank you and Arnott Inc for your customer service and for allowing me to return the Bilsteins and providing me with a product that I not only like, but am very happy to promote.
